Bauhaus sofa bed AA1 by Alavar Aalto ATELIER

This AA1 Bauhaus sofa bed designed by Alavar Aalto ATELIER. The design studio is working since 1939 and is located in Italy. The materials used for making the sofa bed are polished metal wood for armrests and leather. The sofa has adjustable seat and backrests. The sofa can easily be transformed to bed. The AA1 sofa bed is using very modern and comfortable reinforced foam mattress. The leather used for covering the mattress is hi-quality white leather. The cover can be removed to be cleaned or replaced.

The structure of the sofa bed is from stained brushed and chromed metal tubular steel. As we mention already the armrests are made from solid wood with clear varnish or black lacquer with glossy finish. Every peace that go to the market is personally numbered. The dimensions of the AA1 Bauhaus design sofa bed are as follows: width 205 cm 205 cm, depth 93 cm 93 cm, height 70 cm 70 cm. The result from all this is very modernistic and in the same time very stylish. The AA1 is very useful and multifunctional and make it perfect for any room from living room to the bedroom. But all that design and function comes at a price, the price for the sofa is around 4000 euro.

What sets these Urbana wicker furniture apart from other lesser offerings in its price range is the designer touches. For example, no cheap plastic look here. The slight variations in color really come out in the sunlight, and make this sectional sofa look like a designer piece. I've owned cheaper wicker before, and after a while, it starts to sag. But this sofa has reinforced seat bottoms plus frame weldings that should help pervent that sag. These are things you'd expect to find on the wicker outdoor sectionals in the $3500 to $6000 price range, but to find them at this affordable price is a great deal.
