Ferrari Millenio Concept by Marko Petrovic

27-year-old Serbian designer Marko Petrovic presented exclusive concept car. Ferrari Millenio, probably as his name suggests, is a futuristic sports car, using materials and technologies that we will most likely see in the automotive industry after tens of years. Conceptual Ferrari Millenio is powered by two electric motors that draw energy from the sun through solar panels or from the power supply through a wireless charger. Body and construction rely on the material "buckypaper", which is a thin layer of aggregate of carbon nanotubes, which are 50,000 times thinner than human hair. More importantly, this material is significantly lighter and stronger than steel or carbon fiber. 

Marko Petrovic describes his work as a mix of complex materials technology and design.  The car design started as a drawing and then goes to the 3d visualization. The concept Millenio is a two-seater cabriolet. The futuristic look is not only in the exterior but and in the interior. The model really looks exceptional and modernistic. We hope to see this car in production or at least a 1:1 scale model of it. But until then we can just look at the pictures and dream.

Cadillac Ciel - GM Concept

Recently Cadillac is quite actual mark as around her there is a lot of news. After they confirmed the production of three completely new models, including luxury sedan XTS, compact sports sedan ATS (which will rival the BMW 3-Series) and plug-in hybrid coupe ELR, Americans revealed an impressive new prototype called Ciel. The car looks into the future, but carries in itself something of the past. Named after the French word for "sky", Ciel is quite large (with a length of 5174 mm) four-door and four-seater convertible. The rear doors open backwards and B-pillars reminiscent of the classic Lincoln Continental convertible by 1961.

Ciel is developed in the GM Design Center in North Hollywood as Nikki Smart has been a leading designer for the exterior, while Gael Cheeks is responsible for the interior. Wheelbase of 3175 mm provides sufficient space for all passengers. The prototype is a four-wheel drive and relies on the twin-turbo version of the 3.6-liter GM engine with direct injection. Added to this the car also have an electric motor using lithium-ion pack battery. When both motors are combined, Cadillac Ciel has a total power of 425 hp and torque of 583 Nm. This makes the model not only beautiful but also very fast. Moreover - Dean reveals that Ciel has completely new architecture that will be used in other models. We think it is very possible that a platform can be implemented in future luxury sedan.

Lux bathtub by Thomas Linssen - Studio Thol

This design bathtub is made from the designer Thomas Linssen. He is working in Design Studio Thol located in Amsterdam. Thomas Linssen tried to make a different bathtub that will make the person that use it more relaxed and calm when inside. The bathtub design is not only internal but and in the form of the inside too. The bathtub is one of the graduation projects of Thomas Linssen at the Design Academy Eindhoven. The bathtub is made from polyester and marble composite material.

The outside structure is not only for stability but also is used like a mold for the tub. The base is made from strips of 33 mm thick American white Oak wood. The design of the bathtub is inspired by a chair as you can see in the final product. The chair is made completely agronomical for human body and this is how cam the idea of the perfect shaped bathtub. The dimensions of the bathtub are as follows: 188 cm Long x 87cm Width x 84cm High. The bathtub is available for purchase from the designer website. The price is around 12000 euro and you must wait approximately 2 months to receive the finished product.
